Ian McVey, is Project Manager at the Ontario Climate Consortium (OCC) and Co-director, Community Energy Knowledge and Action Partnership (CEKAP). As project manager with the OCC, Ian works to build and sustain partnerships between academic researchers, policymakers in local and regional government, and civil society organizations, in order to generate and mobilize knowledge that supports the low carbon energy transition. Prior to joining the OCC in 2015, Ian held a number of research and stakeholder engagement roles related to climate and energy policy and strategy in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Ian is eager to leverage his experience and professional network to support collaboration between CEKAP’s research and practitioner networks. Ian holds a Masters in Environmental Studies (York, 2011) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Concordia, 2008).
